Learn how to build your own amazing website!
A dynamic website is crucial to your organization for driving site traffic, expanding market recognition, providing round-the-clock information, and promoting growth. In this 40 hour workplace education program, participants will learn the following:

How to set up a WordPress site from scratch;
- WordPress & internet security basics (how to keep hackers out);
- The anatomy of a web page and backing up your WordPress site;
- How to set up a domain and find a good web host;
- C-Panel, WordPress Dashboard & Google Search;
- The ability to work with themes, pages, posts and menus;
- Plugins, themes, images and working with video;
- And much more!
Participants must have their own laptop upon which to work. **Please note this program requires participants to purchase a website domain, a web host and a back up plugin, approximate cost $100-$120 plus taxes.
Start Date: Wednesday, September 18, 2019
Time: 8:30am - 12:00pm
Classes will run every Wednesday for 11 consecutive weeks. Registration is not confirmation of acceptance in the program; you will be contacted as to your status after an individual needs assessment, and no later than September 13, 2019. Please note there is a one program per person, per semester limit.
