Labour and Advanced Education, in Partnership with CBDC-NOBL has been pleased to be able to offer training programs in Colchester County through the generosity of several organizations in the community, and we offer programs that small and medium sized businesses can use to grow and prosper.
Persons wishing to take part in Workplace Education training MUST be residents of Nova Scotia, and be employed or self employed, as per the provincial guidelines.
To submit your name for a program, click on the “Register” button in the individual listing, fill in the fields, and click on “Sign Up”. You should receive an auto-response confirming receipt; please note that this is not confirmation of your acceptance, only that we have received your submission. Once we have reached sufficient numbers to confirm the program will run, you will be contacted by the instructor for a one-on-one needs assessment, after which you will receive an email advising of your status.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Business the Leadership Course. It was a great opportunity to evaluate what more I can do to provide leadership within my professional and personal life. I very much enjoyed discussing the challenges other participants face within their organizations as well as developing innovative solutions through group brainstorming. It’s a course that challenges supervisors, managers and business owners to think outside the box when looking for fresh and relevant ways to help propel their organizations to greater collaboration and success. - Lenita Hanson
