Lorna has over 25 years’ experience in business, government and community development including banking, human resources, sales, insurance, community development, tourism, education and event planning.
In 2012, Lorna decided to take that 25 years of career experience and give back by creating Service First Training & Consulting. Lorna offers training and service evaluations for a variety of businesses, community organizations, frontline staff, supervisors, managers and business owners.
Lorna’s career, education, and community background give her with a broad perspective and understanding of diverse business and community needs, project goals and outcomes. She provides a supportive learning environment while tapping into the participant’s work experience.
Lorna creates customized programs to meet the needs and goals of her clients. Programs include topics on communication in the workplace, team building, conflict resolution, effective feedback, customer service, generations in the workplace, and leadership training. New this year is a program titled, Leading Change in the Workplace.
Service evaluations are also offered at Service First. A service evaluation is a systematic assessment that provides feedback on a business service or customer service for efficiency and effectiveness.
