Labour and Advanced Education, in Partnership with CBDC-NOBL has been pleased to be able to offer training programs in Colchester County through the generosity of several organizations in the community, and we offer programs that small and medium sized businesses can use to grow and prosper.
Persons wishing to take part in Workplace Education training MUST be residents of Nova Scotia, and be employed or self employed, as per the provincial guidelines.
To submit your name for a program, click on the “Register” button in the individual listing, fill in the fields, and click on “Sign Up”. You should receive an auto-response confirming receipt; please note that this is not confirmation of your acceptance, only that we have received your submission. Once we have reached sufficient numbers to confirm the program will run, you will be contacted by the instructor for a one-on-one needs assessment, after which you will receive an email advising of your status.
The social media course was fantastic! Chris Lewis is very well-schooled on current social media formats from facebook to hootsuite. Shannon Bouchie at NOBL put together this course specifically for real estate agents in Pictou County. This specialized course proved to be very interesting as I worked alongside my competitors yet expecting to achieve the same result: Marketing exposure through social media. This course helped me create a business page on fb, connect to twitter, google and hootsuite. Can’t wait for the new courses to start . - Denise White
