Topics covered will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Increasing business productivity skills using Google Workspace/Microsoft Office 365
  • Optimizing time management effectiveness with apps
  • Making apps work seamlessly together
  • Adjusting settings for maximum effectiveness and productivity
  • Working remotely with others
  • The Cloud and cloud storage
  • Online security when using the Cloud and your devices
  • Email in the Cloud and on your devices
  • Calendar and contacts
  • Forms
  • Note taking and to do list apps
  • Document apps
  • Spreadsheet apps
  • Presentation apps

Start Date: Wednesday, January 19, 2022

Time: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Classes will occur every Wednesday for 11 weeks.  There are additional requirements for the Zoom online programs, as follows: The program must be taken on a computer, laptop, or tablet; phones will not be an accepted device. Participants must have a high speed Internet connection (no dial up), and hardwired is preferred to wi-fi. A headset or earbuds must be used, and the participant must have a webcam, if no camera in their laptop, with the camera left on; video participation is a requirement, to ensure the connection to the instructor and other participants. A quiet place to focus is required, free from distractions. These details will be part of the INA process.

Registration is not confirmation of acceptance in the program; you will be contacted as to your status after an individual needs assessment, and no later than January 14, 2022.

TESTIMONIALS

I recently attended a Sage 50, 40 hour course being facilitated by Chris Lewis of Chris Lewis Business Solutions. Located and sponsored through NOBL and CBDC New Glasgow.
I found the course and content to be very useful to me in a way that gave me the confidence to start a business plan for a small business in Bookkeeping.
Chris Lewis is very knowledgeable in the field of accounting and business and facilitated the program very well and professional. He gave more than anticipated tips and tricks of the trade which will also be very useful to me being new to the business world.
It is a great opportunity in my opinion to attend such courses being offered; especially for free. These courses can run you anywhere from $1500 to $2500 depending on the institution. I would like to attend more courses like this to keep my skills up to date and to gain more knowledge of the business world.
