Microsoft Excel Level II starting Wednesday, January 22, 2025 - CXLD
Excel is great...until it isn’t. This eleven week Level II interactive program will help you take your current Microsoft Excel knowledge up to "wizard" level, allowing you to spend less time on spreadsheets and more time running your business.
Topics covered may include:
- review of essential formulas and functions
- useful keyboard shortcuts
- generating pivot tables out of existing data
- finding specific answers in mounds of data using VLOOKUP
- automating tedious actions with a macro
- data validation, creating drop-down menus in cells
- sifting data using AND/OR/NOT expressions
- group specific questions, examples, and scenarios
- working with the Power Query Editor
- using XLookup
- working with JavaScript in the Automate tab
Participants should already be comfortable using Excel or at least not experience indigestion at the mere mention of it. Still reading? Good! Then this is the program for you.
Start date: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Time: 1:00pm - 4:30pm
Classes will run every Wednesday for 11 weeks. There are additional requirements for the Zoom online programs, as follows: The program must be taken on a computer, laptop, or tablet; phones will not be an accepted device. Participants must have a high speed Internet connection (no dial up), and hardwired is preferred to wi-fi. A headset or earbuds must be used, and the participant must have a webcam, if no camera in their laptop, with the camera left on; video participation is a requirement, to ensure the connection to the instructor and other participants. A quiet place to focus is required, free from distractions. These details will be part of the INA process.
Registration is not confirmation of acceptance in the program; you will be contacted as to your status after an individual needs assessment, and no later than January 17, 2025.

My name is Jean and my business is Jeanious Design.
I have taken several of the courses offered by CBDC and I feel they have helped me crack out of the shell I was in.
Nervous to approach people, nervous to put myself out there in the business world and succeed or fail.
Being in class with other fresh and seasoned business people and seeing that I was not alone in my quest for business knowledge, helped me a lot.
I still have along way to go but every day that goes by I become more confident with my learning and business approach.
