Have you wanted to know how to create an effective marketing strategy to grow your business?

Have you wondered why some customers buy and others don’t - or not as often?

Would you like to build a promotional campaign for your business for  a specific period of time and know how to measure its impact?

Do you wonder if you priced your products right?

Have you considered marketing beyond using social media?

If these are questions you have been asking, the 40-hour Workplace Education program Strategic Marketing would be a smart investment of your time and effort. This program will include areas of focus including:

  • The five P’s of marketing and why they’re important
  • Understanding what motivates your customer
  • Creating the ideal fit between what you offer and what customers want
  • Creating a pricing strategy that supports making a profit
  • Developing a promotional campaign
  • Designing a relationship marketing strategy

**For anyone planning to take a social media program in future, this is an excellent foundation.

Start Date: Tuesday, April 16, 2024

Time: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Classes are every Tuesday for 10 consecutive weeks. There are additional requirements for the Zoom online programs, as follows: The program must be taken on a computer, laptop, or tablet; phones will not be an accepted device. Participants must have a high speed Internet connection (no dial up), and hardwired is preferred to wi-fi. A headset or earbuds must be used, and the participant must have a webcam, if no camera in their laptop, with the camera left on; video participation is a requirement, to ensure the connection to the instructor and other participants. A quiet place to focus is required, free from distractions. These details will be part of the INA process.

Registration is not confirmation of acceptance in the program; you will be contacted as to your status after an individual needs assessment, and no later than April 12, 2024.

"I have taken two of the programs now and can honestly say, both put me leaps and bounds ahead of where I started. The instructors are amazing, the programs are well run and full of useful and relatable information."  Gina MacCallum, Literacy Nova Scotia

TESTIMONIALS

“ Having just completed the LAE ten-week Project Management Essentials Course, I can say whole heartedly that it was an extraordinary experience. Instructor Lynn MacKinnon taught this course with a level of professionalism and courtesy where she welcomed every student into the class with warmth and a smile. Our group was made up of business professionals involved in a wide variety of industries both small and large whose primary goal was to learn the necessary skillsets that could be applied to our respective businesses. To say this course met our expectations is an understatement as the class discussions allowed us to take the curriculum and apply it hands on to our respective business cases. Since completing the course I have had the opportunity to apply it to both our family business and to a large scale project with my corporate employer. I highly recommend the Project Management Essentials course as it allows you to breakdown your project to its fine points and build a foundation to start your ideas and goals. It allows you to plan your budget, set your target milestones and develop a step-by-step process to completion. This course should be the baseline for any business owner or entrepreneur.”
